Sport Chek

Terrible online ordering and customer service experience! I ordered a 4 pack of Nuun electrolyte tablets to pick up in store. Got home with the box, opened the package to discover that 2 of the 4 tubes were not in the box! Called the store, and had to talk to 4 different people and spent 30 minutes to figure out what was going on. I was told finally that they "couldn't find" the other 2 tubes, but filled the order anyway and charged me for the 4 pack, plus wasted my time to go and get the product. They will refund me for the other tubes in 2 to 3 business days. When I spoke to a manager to complain, they said they had "no control" over how orders are fulfilled and that I needed to speak with someone else. So ridiculous. Won't be ordering from them ever again. Update: Waited the 3 business days, then one more...still no refund. Called the store. They in fact CANNOT refund me for 2 of the tubes due to the fact that the tubes came in a pack of 4. So they lied to me...And hoped maybe I'd forget? Now I have to physically return to the store to get the 2 tubes they should have given me to begin with. HUGE waste of my time. Never will I give them my business again!

Great looking store with everything you could want or need for the sports enthusiast! I hadn’t been to this location in a while and it was a really great experience walking through it. Two floors with all your favourite brands of sports equipment, and clothing. Bottom floor was clothing with a great shoe section organized well. Second floor accessible by elevator or escalator had all kinds of outdoor equipment. It was great to see a large YETI selection. Store was colorful, well lit, clean and staff were available and approachable. This was a really nicely merchandised space for the size of it. I enjoyed walking through it and was engaged by a staff member on the second floor asking if I needed any help which was nice. I would definitely return to this location for anything I needed.

Today, I visited Sport Check with the intention of purchasing a mug marked at $9, down from its original price of $35. Unfortunately, the manager on duty not only refused to honor the marked discount but also displayed rude behavior throughout the interaction. This experience left me deeply disappointed as a customer. I hope the management can address these issues to ensure better customer service in the future.

Was it bit frustrating going there today. I went in search of a road hockey stick, and Sport Chek has a fantastic deal on Sherwood sticks that are quite resilient. However, I struggled to find someone familiar with hockey which I found baffling at a Sport Chek. Thankfully, I went to the sales register and found an ultra=pleasant young man whose name I have forgotten who went upstairs with me (he even admitted that he was not a hockey expert, which at the cash registers isn't such an issue) found someone who had an idea where the sticks might be. They found the product I was searching for and then the young man cashed me out. Full disclosure: I was very hungry and de-caffeinated, and I desperately wanted to get home so any delay seemed intolerable. I will say that Sport Chek employees are very pleasant even if you are not, so I know there is a lot of complaining here for a 4/5. I would suggest having a copy or photo of the product which you want. And don't shop after a workout before eating.

Just got home from the most pleasant visit at Sport Chek. We arrived and were immediately greeted and pointed in the direction of where we needed to go to find soccer gear. Upstairs we were checked on by two different staff members (sorry we didn't get your name) to ensure we were finding everything we needed. Downstairs in the soccer shoes section Silva spent the time to go through different options with me. Despite not having a size 13 in the model I was looking at he was able to recommend a different style in my size that ended up feeling much better for my wide foot. Silva really went above and beyond helping us. At the cash we had a nice chat with Sheena who was quick and efficient but also very sweet and helpful. A nice clean and spacious store but the amazing staff really made our visit review worthy. Thanks again for all your help!
